      FAQ

      Do I need a referral?

Not always. Some insurance plans may require a referral—our team will help you confirm.

      Do you take my insurance?

Fab Eye Care will verify coverage and guide you through what to expect. Specialist billing will be processed through the visiting physician’s group (SightMD / OCIOL) depending on the service provided so it is best to check with them.

      What if I need surgery?

Your specialist will review findings and, if surgery is needed, their surgical team will coordinate location, timing, and pre/post-op care. Many patients often still do parts of their follow-up locally with Fab Eye Care doctors when appropriate.

How often are the specialists here?

Each specialist clinic is once per week (schedule varies). Call or request online and we’ll confirm the next available date.
